Day 131 of 365
“Jobs”
We all know what they are. They are the actions we must take to survive. They were the things we dreamed about at 16 and want to retire from while we can still look great in shorts while on vacation on the beach away from the cares of the world with no cell phones or schedules no dressing up unless you just feel like it and no waking up until you have had enough rest. Oh let me stop daydreaming. (smile)
There are so many different occupations that are out there. Figuring out your life”s work is always very daunting but we do it. A job is a means to an end. It allows us to follow our journey through life. Our children enter the workforce knowing they have to make money to survive. How about we teach them to do something they love and make a way for it to provide for their families.
Wouldn’t that be a novel idea? People actually love their jobs. There are those fortunate few that have already done this. Others are not as fortunate. Disliking not only the job but also complaining to everyone they know about it. These are the people we are losing to sadness and oftentimes disgust.
My thoughts for today turn to those that have not yet found that burning desire to go do what they love to do and get paid for it. Perhaps the world would be an even better place if we could get up knowing we matter, what we do matters, the people we touch appreciate what we do and on top of all of that WE GET PAID!!
Awesome.
