Day 38 of 2010
“Pancake Breakfast”
Up early, boys in Cub scouts uniforms and everyone else dressed to leave the house at 5am. Well we made it out of the house at 5:15am. 15 minutes, a record for us. It was awesome.
We walked in ready to work. The bacon and sausage was frying. The grits and gravy are cooking. Pancakes and hash browns are doing their thing. It was wonderful. Several people showed up. The scouts did a great job taking orders and delivering plates.
It was great. Now I am tired and it is time for bed.
Volunteering can be tiring.
