“Actual Day of Celebration”
This is the day my family and I actually celebrated my birthday. I had a “Hello Kitty” cake, two beautiful cards from my honey and a host of love from my children. One of the cards honey gave me played “Brick House”, needless to say he got a handful of hubby points for that one.
The day was great. Our younger boys felt as though if you do not have a cake then you have not had a birthday. So the cake make the celebration complete for them in a way we could not even imagine I am sure.
There was also a “package” in one of the cards that Charles expected me to spend on myself. However, during the course of the next several days little things came up with the children. So as it turns out very little was spent on me, however, the kids are excited.
How many parents can relate? I have decided that when we rear our children and they are adults they can spoil Charles and I with reckless abandon. It will prove to be our “golden years” in reality.
A girl can dream can’t she???
