Christian ideas 1 Year ago
Where did your basis for your Christianity come from? Your parents or family? Since becoming an adult have you made a decision for yourself that what God says is true? Or do you still hold to the tenets you were given as a child and have not pursued a more intimate "knowing" of those ideas for yourself? I would challenge each of us to ask the Lord to increase our faith in the basic tenets we learned in our youth so that we can move into a greater growth cycle for Him.

Where will the Christian separate himself from the world? Can we view the same movies as the world? Should we go to the same clubs they go to? Do we give them a sense that Jesus is in any of these things? Will they want to follow Jesus if they see us doing exactly what they do? Let us do the godly thing and lead them to Christ, instead of stepping into the world to let them know "we know how they feel" or "that we can relate to them". We must show them something peculiar to share with them the Good News.
