Fiscally Sound
While the world has experienced challenging economic times, I have heard many say they do not want to leave enormous debt to their children and grandchildren. As I thought about what the government has to contend with, I reflected on my family. I realized that many families should have the same thought.
Though the decades of get, acquire and me, our children do not know what it means to be fiscally sound. Why should we expect more of our government? I am just saying that before we can jump up and down about what the government has to do to insure the health and safety of our country, let us be sure we as individuals are moving toward the same standards.
Each of us must assure our children that we will leave them better than we were. More financially sound. Better educated. A secure homeland. A nation where God is sovereign. A morally sound and integrity bound nation. A bipartisan nation. All of those things we are fighting for politically should also a battle in our homes.
So before we throw too much rhetoric around, let us begin to take our families in the direction we want our country to go. Peacefully, gracefully, with integrity and love.
Yes We Can!!!!
