Day 133 of 365 "Last Den Meeting" |
|
This is a kind of sad day. It is the last den meeting of the school
year. Our family has definitely become a scouting family. Many of my
days reflections revolve around scouting. It has been a grand adventure.

Day 132 of 365 "Doctor Appointments" |
|
This is the day I take kids to the doctor. We love our pediatrician. He
has taken care of our children for almost 11 years. He is a part of our
family. I love that he knows our children and what their individual
personalities require for them to have an awesome experience with him
and his assistants. Our children love him and feel very comfortable
around him.

We all know what they are. They are the actions we must take to survive.
They were the things we dreamed about at 16 and want to retire from
while we can still look great in shorts while on vacation on the beach
away from the cares of the world with no cell phones or schedules no
dressing up unless you just feel like it and no waking up until you have
had enough rest. Oh let me stop daydreaming. (smile)

Day 130 of 365 "Commitments" |
|
This week promises to be a busy one. There are doctor appointments,
scouts and events to attend. Commitments are what adults put on their
schedules with a prayer that at most will be completed. The attempt will
be to follow through and make all of it happen.

Day 129 of 365 "And the Children shall lead Them" |
|
We attended church today and I was reminded of something.
Have you ever known something but at the oddest time you are reminded of
the
thing you already knew? Well our children are a source of re-revelation
to me
on a consistent basis.

Day 128 of 365 "Visiting the Garden" |
|
Our Wolf scout den visited the Memphis Botanical Garden today. It was wonderful. We took our entire family. All of us together made this momma proud. Family trips are always a particular joy to me.

Day 127 of 365 "Thanking the Lord" |
|
So Friday is here. I just have to take this moment to say that the Lord has done so much for me I cannot tell it all. There are times in my life that I realize how far He has brought me. There are also times I forget to give Him the thanks for all that has been done on my behalf.
|
|
|
Friday is one of those days that at times feels like a holiday. You realize that you do not have to get up early the next morning and you can have pancakes for breakfast in the morning. It is also family night for us if we do not have an activity scheduled for Saturday.
|
|
|
There never seems to be much of it. We tend to think we spend most of it doing things we do not enjoy. It is one of the things we can never get back. So have you ever thought of how you actually spend those precious moments?
