Day 123 of 365 "My Garden of Conversations" |
As I sat in the car today I realized that all relationships require maintenance. I was talking to our daughter and realized that the more we talked the more I wanted to talk to her. We both realized that each time we had a conversation or went to an event together we wanted to spend more time together.

Day 122 of 365 "Fruit of the Spirit" |
Today we decided to stay home and have Sunday school with the kids. The lesson Dad talked about was the fruit of the Spirit. The kids learned a lot about how to treat each other and people that are not in our family. They got a picture page of fruit to color.

Day 121 of 365 "Inches of Rain" |
The rain was something to behold today. Several events were cancelled thank the Lord. Then others went on without incident. I am thankful for the rain; however, getting more than 7 inches at once can be a bit disconcerting.

Day 120 of 365 "Jumping Out of the Boat" |
During our son’s swimming lesson he had to jump from the side of a boat. This is a child that did not like the water on his face. He would barely put his nose in the water. Here he was today jumping from a boat and swimming to his instructor.

This day gets a huge amount of bad press. No one seems to look forward to Mondays. Usually it begins a work week and none of us really feel like getting out of our warm beds to go to work. The children know that this day will bring less TV, no video games and being reminded of the early bedtime for the next few nights.

Day 115 of 365 "When Sunday Comes" |
We did not make it to church today. The car is having challenges and needs some work done. This was a great day and we had a wonderful time at home with the children and the car.
