Are we dedicated to a person a party or a country. What I have seen from members of the Democratic and now the Republican parties are extremely disturbing.
During the Democratic Primaries it was Hillary Clinton and the rest of us. There was a time you could not tell if a person was a Democrat or a Hill-ocrat. After the primary had been decided my the electoral process, people were more committed to the person than the purpose. There were those who defected to the other side of ideals, abandoning the need for change to embrace the monster of disappointment. Many stated they would not support the duly selected, elected democratic nominee, others, ignoring their personal plight and the plight of a nation crossed party lines.
Now I see members of the Republican party and potentially the Party it self positioning itself to derail this presidency. If this is so, it has to be a slap in the face to the American electorate. Is the Republican party saying that the majority of the American people are to naive or stupid to know what is good for them and now they must take on the task of sabotaging this move of destiny.
I believe this election was a crystal clear example of a move of God. Many believers, both Democratic and Republican prayed, fasted and believed for their candidate. Now that he has been chosen, are there their those who are saying that God has made a mistake. For if God does not make a mistakes could this be His first one? One must remember that, “If God be for you who can be against you?” and the answer to that questions is, “EVERYONE”. The real question is not who can be against you but who can DEFEAT the plan of God.
Politics is suppose to be “For the People by the People” it is not “For the Party by the Party”.
We should hold both parties accountable for what they do both for the nation and against the nation. The individual parties mean nothing in the face of our great nation. We are “One Nation Under God” we are not “One Nation UNDER Two Parties”.
I always thought the ideals of politics were to support the people of a nation, not the people of nation supporting a party.
This is not a sport where everyone is for the team regardless of the facts, this is about a nation where we are to expect our elected leaders to put the nations interest ahead of their own.
We Must Reward or Punish by the power and might of our vote, those who aspire to server us and this, United States of America.
