Day 66 of 365 "My Mother's Birthday" |
|
Today is my mother’s birthday. March 7, 1932 she was born into this
world and I am glad about it. Mom passed away almost six years ago but
her memory lives on. I am such a blessed woman to have had her as my
mother.

Day 65 of 365 "Actual Day of Celebration" |
|
This is the day my family and I actually celebrated my birthday. I had
a “Hello Kitty” cake, two beautiful cards from my honey and a host of
love from my children. One of the cards honey gave me played “Brick
House”, needless to say he got a handful of hubby points for that one.

Day 64 of 365 "Happy Birthday to Me" |
|
Day 64 of 365
“Happy Birthday to Me”
Today is my 44th birthday and I have been ill most of the day. However,
it has been a great day to move on up a little higher in the aging
process. My forties have been awesome just like my mother told me they
would. Aging is a process that can be enjoyable or not. Joyous or not.
Painful or not. You make the choice.
I choose enjoyable, joyful and less painful. Although now my knee tries to tell me differently (smile).
Well I do not have much more to say. I will leave you with: have a blessed and productive day.

Day 63 of 365 "Good Manners" |
|
This is Cub Scouts night and I have the honor of teaching the young boys about manners. I was amazed at how many of them had so much to say on the subject. They really wanted to let me know that you should say “Thank You” “Yes ma’am” and “No sir”.

Day 62 of 365 "Radio Show" |
|
Wednesdays are great days for me. These are the days in which I get to do my radio show “Striking Conversations”. It is a show Charles and I began about 2 years ago to address marital relationships and anything else we could think of. It has been a great adventure.
