I realized in times of great transition I have often felt that I am incomplete. That somehow I am missing whatever is needed. The challenge is, often, I do not know what that something is. It is a feeling of emptiness that can sometimes create the very real emotion of a great black hole drawing me in.
I am not in control of my existence.
There is a power greater than my will chaotically in control of my life.
I have had those feelings show themselves through my perceived relationship with God. I know I have accepted God, and at that time, I believe I have received his spirit.
BUT I have a emotional feelings of being incomplete.
I have realized that it is not what was given that is incomplete but - the one that is receiving it.
We grow into the spirit:
In understanding, acceptance, obedience and love.
When going through the storms of life we must realize that we are incomplete by ourselves. Our mere survival gives us a false impression of victory but there isn't a completeness of transformation. Somehow we are still the same.
We often hear the,”Inside theology” that states everything is on the inside:
1.Our Happiness
2.Our Joy
3.Our Peace
4.Our Wellbeing
as though the inside is some great well of limitless supply.
How does one draw from the Black hole of emptiness, to fill the cavernous recess of an existence gone wild.
We must lean on the Complete Spirit of God that can dwell inside of us.
***IT IS LIKE BEING IN SCHOOL, SCHOOL IS COMPLETE BUT YOU ARE YET COMPLETING THE GRADES.***
In 1 Corinthians 3:16, we see that the Holy Spirit lives inside us: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
The question is have we made room in the temple for the spirit of God? It is impossible to produce something from an empty room.
**When you do not possess what is needed to get what you want, you must invite someone who can provide what is missing.**
