Not "Just a Woman" but a "Just Woman" |

Proverbs 31:10 " Who can find a virtuous woman? For her worth is far above rubies"
This put the Proverbs 31 woman into my grasp. I have attempted to graft these ideas into my own life and thought it would benefit you as well.
1. A woman of Virtue is a priceless helpmeet to her man and her community.
This statement meant a lot to me because it reminded me that I am a priceless piece in the union that is my marriage. That by caring for my family I am even more priceless to my community.
2. She is efficient in business and generous to the poor and needy.
Knowing that a woman can be an awesome business woman with the talents the Lord has given her has released many a woman to go back to school and pursue endeavors that may have been thought to have passed by. The thought of giong to school or studying for a new certification while being married and having children can be daunting. That is where the rest of the scripture comes in. If you are a wife whose husband is fulfilled and knows that you mean the best for the family, I would dare say he would be all for lending a hand so the jewel in his life could shine more brightly.
3. She is a woman anchored by her convictions and driven by her beliefs, boldly operating in her divine purpose.
Having God centered convictions is the way that women can move on into their divine purpose. It cannot be about what the world tells you is possible, it is what the Lord can make possible for you. Believing in the power of Christ and knowing that He is the architect of our lives, not anyone else, will alleviate a lot of the stress we feel when we are led by God to follow His mandate for our lives. I believe we serve a God that will prepare the way. Even if the money looks funny and the change is strange. He can make a way if we are following Him. So pray to walk in the divine purpose of the Lord.
4. Born with a nature to nurture, she provides love to her family, tending to their needs and fights for their well-being.
The nuturing side of a woman will come out when one of her children is hurt or attacked, either by physical, mental or emotional arrows. There is a time when we all will have to fight for our children and we must be prayed up and ready to remain on the battlefield as long as necessary.
5. As a mother and wife, her heart’s cry is that her children will one day arise and become the men and women that God has called them to be. Meanwhile she prays for them and wails on behalf of a dying nation.
Praying for our children to be lawyers and doctors is wonderful. However as a Christian woman I pray that my children find their path in the Lord and become the warriors for Christ that they are to become. If we pray for them perhaps the Lord will be gracious enough to let them know their divine purpose with more clarity, sooner. Sending prayers ahead to their adulthood that they make wise decisions when they leave us. I know that sounds crazy but that is what I have been doing, especially since I realized that it was the prayers of my Grandmothers and Mother that have carried me through some of the toughest times in my life.
6. With understanding of her prize she adds to her self-worth and keeps herself sacred for her husband.
We should all strive to do nothing to jeopardize the relationship our marriage has with Christ.
7. Conscious of her value as a woman, she provides a voice of wisdom, comfort and encouragement.
No one knows everything, so we should share what we know with our husband. Each of us knows how to cheer our man on to the next level. Just do it. Do not make him have to ask for encouragement, give it freely and often.
8. Her mouth is used to speak words of love and wisdom.
Let your husband know you love him in a way that he understands. It could be saying the words, cleaning the home, buying or making a gift, watching a game with him or planning a romantic night. Just be sure he knows you love him beyond a shadow of a doubt.
9. She is a trustworthy confidante, for she is discreet, disciplined and dependable.
Stop telling everyone all of your husband's issues. You should be his champion and not join in on the slandering of him. Do not allow anyone to say anything negative about your husband. No one. They may be correct, but that is your man, your king and the man you are spending the rest of your life with. If you have issues than find someone who is a Christian, has the same level of faith as you, is also married and will tell you the truth in a Christ like manner.
10. She replenishes herself continuously; increasing her worth to her loved ones.
11. She takes good care of herself: watching her diet, getting adequate rest and exercising regularly and prepared to give the best of her life.

12. She is organized and responsible, passionately balancing her many duties. She develops her talents and hones her skills through education and diligent application.
13. This woman has high standards and is always dressed for success.
14. She is a mother, a teacher, a friend, a lover and the pillar of society.
15. She recognizes that she is a queen and sets high standards for herself. She refuses to accept anything that’s less than honourable or to be addressed with disrespect.
You decide what you will allow around you, as long as the Lord agrees, keep it as a standard.
16. She is cognizant of who she is destined to be and acknowledges she is not " just a woman" but "a just woman".
