Sacred vs Secular

For the Christian how do we determine the placement of things in our lives? Often times we place job, education, entertainment and things of that nature into the secular category. Everything else we tend to take to the Lord thereby placing them in the sacred category.

It is as if we have Jesus in a particular place and rarely allow Him to penetrate into other areas. How does the Christian reconcile the collective areas of our lives? Is it difficult for us to allow the Lord to move in all areas of our lives?
