Watch Service Leading up to 2010 |

 I can recall when I was younger my mother used to say that whatever you were doing on January 1 would be a reflection of what your year would be. So I took that to heart and made sure I could be found at a Watch Service at someone’s church. This has been a mainstay in my family’s life since our first son. So it has been the thing we do for the last 15 years.
This has been just one of the constants in our lives. Constants are those comforting ideas or situations that allow us to know that our lives have some balance. Going to this particular service just lets me know there are some constants in my life. At this point in my life, constants are great.
So just as a point of encouragement, remember that our desire is to have less stress and peace in our homes for the most part for the New Year. What better place to begin that journey of distressing and peacefulness for the coming year than at a Watch Service? A place where you thank the Lord for the year past and the one you are entering into.
